Aggie Band takes top honors in Theodore

The Jackson High School marching band took top honors at the Deep South Marching Band Contest Saturday Oct. 27 in Theodore.The band competed with Leroy, Escambia County, Flomaton, St. Martin (Miss.) Alma Bryant, Mary G. Montgomery and Davidson.They were designated Best in Class Guard, Best in Class Percussion and Best in Class Band. Drum major Trey Graham came in second place behind the highest scoring drum major of the entire competition. This is the third consecutive year that the Aggie Band has been awarded the title of "Best in Class Band" at the Theodore competition.
