Baseball showcase Nov. 11

Coast to Coast baseball is holding an open showcase Sunday, Nov. 11 for players around the state.

The purpose is to select players ages 11-12, 13-15 and 16-18 to represent the U.S.A in the international competition in Puerto Rico, Australia, Europe and Hawaii.

The event will be held at Sports Blast Shelby County in Birmingham at 1 p.m.

Over the past eight years, Coast to Coast has taken nearly 1,500 players from 46 different states to compete around the world.

There are alumni currently playing at every level of college baseball and even professionally.
