Women's bazaar at

FUMC in Demopolis

The United Methodist Women's Bazaar at the First United Methodist Church in Demopolis will be Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Locally-made crafts, crafts from around the world, attic treasures and baked goods will be available. Homemade chicken salad, pimento cheese sandwiches and desserts will be served beginning at 11 a.m. Takeouts will be available.

There will be a drawing for a hand-crocheted afghan at 1:30 p.m. and a silent auction available for bids until 3 p.m.

The church is located at 200 E. Decatur St., Demopolis. For additional information contact the church at 334-289-1933.

Cedar Point Baptist hosts

Women and Men's Day

Cedar Point Baptist Church on Highway 31 in the West Bend community of Coffeeville will host their Women and Men's Day program Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m.

Speaker for the women will be Bessie Pace Watkins of the Springfield Baptist Church of Millbrook. The Rev. Daris Rodger of the Green Hill Baptist Church of Shulbth, Miss. will speak to the men. His congregation will be the special guests.

Pastor James Chaney invites all to attend.

Goodwill Missionary celebrates

106 years

The community is invited to take part in the 106th year church anniversary of the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Bladon Springs Sunday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m. Guest speaker and special guests will be the Rev. Charlie E. York along with his choir and congregation of Highpoint Baptist Church in Eight Mile.

The Rev. Robert L. Jackson is pastor.

Annual revival at James

Chapel Baptist

James Chapel Baptist Church is hosting a revival that concludes today (Nov. 1) at 7.

Evangelist is Elder Johnnie E. Clarke, a member of the Body of Christian Ministry of Atlanta, Ga.

The Rev. Osbry Millender, pastor, encourages all to attend.

Stave Creek revival

Stave Creek Baptist Church on Highway 69 North in Jackson will be hosting a fall revival, Nov. 4-7.

Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Monday through Wednesday will be at 7 nightly.

Leading the services will be Pastor John Copeland of the First Baptist Church in Fulton and Evangelist Don Graham. The Rev. Jeff Reeves of Fairhaven Baptist Church in Demopolis will direct the Stave Creek Baptist Choir.

Midway UMC hosting

revival

The Midway United Methodist Church, located on County Road 34 north of St. Stephens, will host revival services Nov. 4-7. The Rev. James Isham Scarbrough will be the guest speaker at 6:30 nightly. All are invited to attend.

Annual homecoming at

St. Paul A.M.E.

Pastor Georgia P. Nash and the members of St. Paul A.M.E. invite the community to their annual homecoming Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker for the day will be the Rev. Irmatine T. Chastang, pastor of Star of Zion A.M.E. Church in Jackson.

A revival will begin Nov. 5 continuing through Nov. 8 with Elder Christopher Smith, of Leroy AOH Church of God, as the guest speaker. Nightly services are at 7.

Pastor Rivers celebrates

28th anniversary

The Rev. R.K. Rivers, pastor of the First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, will celebrate his 28th anniversary as pastor this weekend. A Friday night service, Nov. 2, will begin at 7:30; Sunday, Nov. 4, morning worship will be at 10 followed by dinner.

Dr. R.G. Molsbee of Gulfport, Miss. will be the guest speaker at both services. The Regal Hare Family of Choctaw County will be featured at 2 p.m. Sunday following the meal.

MaHarreys to sing

at Seven Oaks

The MaHarreys will be singing at Seven Oaks Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. The church is located 10 miles west of Chatom and three miles east of Highway 45. For additional information call 251-847-3475.
