Chastain - Johnson to wed in Greenville Dec. 29
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Don Snellgrove of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Chastain Jr. of Jackson. Miss Chastain is a 2003 graduate of Fort Dale Academy and a 2006 cum laude graduate of Auburn University where she received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi social sorority. She will graduate with her master's of science degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Montevallo in May 2008. The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mildred Johnson, Marion Tarver of Jackson, Ga., Jean Thompson of Baker, Fla. and the late Mr. Hugh D. Thompson, Jr. He is the great-grandson of the late Hugh and Clara B. Thompson. A 2003 graduate of Fort Dale Academy, Mr. Johnson graduated cum laude from Auburn University in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences. He was a member of Farmhouse social fraternity. Upon completion of the Rural Medicine Program at Auburn University, he will begin medical school at the University of Alabama- Birmingham in July 2008.
The couple will be married on Dec. 29, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Greenville.
