University of Mobile presents 'Christmas Spectacular!'

Storm damages farm
     During Monday's storms that spread through the region, a tornado touched down at the DuBose farm near Jackson, ripping the roof off a shed and damaging a cattle trailer. Four arrested for allegedly burglarizing T'ville businesses
      Four men were arrested in Thomasville Friday, Oct. 19, for taking items from three businesses. Thomasville Police Department received a call from a business, informing officers that two men had taken several items and left with two other men. The theft was recorded on video cameras.

Couple accused of stealing from company they formerly owned
      A man and woman were arrested Tuesday, Oct. 16 for stealing nearly $80,000 from a company they once owned and later worked for. Thurman Kim Stacy, 44, of Grove Hill and Pamela Howell McDonald, 49, of Jackson were once part-owners of Industrial Oil and Supply.
