Open bass tournament scheduled for Nov. 3

The Gilbertown Bass Club will sponsor an open bass tournament Nov. 3 at Miller's Ferry, near Camden, on the Alabama River.

Launch site will be at Ellis Landing with all boats required to launch from there. Entry fee for the tournament is $80 per boat, which includes lunker pot and launch fee. First place prize will be $1,000. The tournament will begin at safe light and conclude at 3 p.m.
