Cases settled without trial in WashCo Circuit Court

Many criminal cases were settled without trial Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the Circuit Court of Washington County. Following is a summary:

Jimmy Howard Foster pled guilty to criminal mischief, received a one-year suspended sentence, was placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay restitution of $3,730.

Dexter K. Jones pled guilty to burglary and received a fiveyear suspended sentence, was ordered to serve nine months in the county jail and ordered to pay restitution of $200. He has served six months.

Marcus L. Weaver pled guilty to receiving stolen property, received a two-year suspended sentence, was placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay restitution of $1,000.

Christy Weaver pled guilty to theft of property and received a three-year suspended sentence, was placed on probation for three years and ordered to pay restitution of $500.

Jimmy Wilson Reed pled guilty to distribution of a controlled substance, received a 12- year suspended sentence, was placed on probation for five years and ordered to serve two years.

Angela Valeria Reed pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance and received a three-year suspended sentence and placed on probation three years.

Roy Michael Lawson pled guilty to possession of marijuana and received a one-year suspended sentence and placed on probation for two years.

Aubrey Lane Barrnett pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, received a sixmonth suspended sentence and placed on probation for one year.

Arlene Clay pled guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, received a one-year suspended sentence and was placed on probation for two years.

Anthony Davis Jr. pled guilty to receiving stolen property and received a three-year prison term; he has served a year.

Phillip A. Fields pled to manufacturing a controlled substance and received a 15-year suspended sentence, was placed on probation for five years and ordered to serve 18 months.

Jeffrey Hutchinson pled guilty to burglary and received a 15-year sentence, was placed on probation five years and ordered to serve 15 months; he has served 10 months.

Tom Lofton pled to criminal mischief and received a sixmonth sentence; he has served six months. He received a oneyear sentence in county jail on a receiving stolen property charge.

Jason W. Payne pled guilty to possession of anhydrous ammonia and received a 15-year prison sentence and was ordered to pay restitution of $1,000.

Derrick L. Rhodes pled to possession of a controlled substance, received a three-year suspended sentence and was placed on probation three years.

Patti Rivers pled to possession of controlled substance, received a five-year suspended sentence and was placed on probation for five years.
