      The top ranked and undefeated Leroy Bears went into Georgiana in the middle of an all-night rainstorm to defeat the Panthers 27-13 on Friday night. Clint Moseley led the Bear victory with 166 yards rushing and 132 passing on 13-18 attempts in the 2A Region1 win.

      The Millry Wildcats came back from a 14-3 deficit to beat McIntosh in a key region game Friday night on Wildcat Hill. Both teams struggled early on offense in the early going until Millry's Jordan Hall booted a 23-yard field goal with 2:18 left in the first quarter to put the Wildcats up 3-0.
