Women's League holds first meeting

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, Jackson Women's League conducted their first meeting of the year.

President Candy H. Overstreet talked about all the events and fund-raisers planned for the year. New yearbooks were passed out and discussed.

The fund-raiser for September is a giftbasket giveaway. Tickets will be sold throughout September for $1. The drawing will be Sept. 30. Those wishing to buy tickets may call 589-3333.
