UWA honors Trustees Emeriti

The University of West Alabama honored six former trustees upon their appointment as Trustees Emeriti with a reception Sept. 10. The former board members received the designation in acknowledgement of their distinguished service to the institution. Honorees included Robert Hugh Edmonds of Brent, who served from 1971-87; Billy F. Hall of Jackson, 1973-87; Joseph C. McCorquodale Jr. of Jackson, 1971-91; Leigh Pegues of Montgomery, 1979-91; I. Drayton Pruitt Jr. of Livingston, 1979-99; and Winton E. Wise of Bay Minette, 1967-91. Above with former UWA president Dr. Asa Green, left, are Hall, McCorquodale, Edmonds, Pegues and Pruitt.
