Gordon - Parker to wed October 6
The bride-elect is the daughter of Cheryl Gordon of Jackson, Willie Malone of Miami, Fla. and the late Barkley Peavy. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Bennet of Jackson, Dorothy and Cephus Peavy of Mobile, Ollie Gordon of Pittsburgh, Pa. and the late Queen Esther Gordon and Annie Gaston. Miss Gordon is a graduate of Jackson High School and is employed with the Community Action Agency. The prospective groom is the son of Norma Dell Parker and Catherine and Johnny Ezell, all of Jackson. He is the grandson of Henry Parker of Jackson and the late Viola Parker. A Jackson High School graduate, Mr. Parker is employed with Action Resources in Mobile.
Wedding vows will be exchanged Oct. 6, 2007 at 4 p.m. at the Mt. Olive No. 2 Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to attend through the medium of the press.
