Church Calendar Ten Friend's Love Feast at St. Paul A.M.E. Nancy Maharry will be the guest speaker at the St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Carlton, said the Rev. Georgia P. Nash, pastor. She encourages everyone to bring a friend and attend the Ten Friends' Love Feast, Sept. 1 at 4:30 p.m. Friendship Missionary has homecomming and revival Pastor Charlie J. White and the members of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Leroy will be conducting a homecoming service Sunday, Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Henry Gillis, pastor of James Chapel Baptist Church of St. Stephens. Revival services are Monday, Aug. 27-31 at 7:30 nightly. The evangelist for the week will be the Rev. Church in Choctaw Bluff will be Sunday, Sept. 2 at 2:30 p.m. Speaker will be the Rev. Ivory James, pastor of Greater New Hope A.M.E. Church in Millry. Revival services will begin Monday, Sept. 3 and continue through Friday, Sept. 7 at 7 nightly. The Rev. Osbry Millender of Moss Point, Miss. will be the evangelist for the week. The Rev. Goodwill Missionary Baptist conducting homecoming Sunday, Sept. 2 at 10 a.m., Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church of Silas will conduct homecoming services with Pastor Robert L. Jackson speaking. Stephanie Leavins to speak at First Baptist Jackson Born with muscular dystrophy, Stephanie Leavins has spent her life in a wheelchair. She will be sharing her testimony and speaking of how she believes God has revealed His love and mercy by using her handicap to inspire and encourage audiences. Her presentation will be at First Baptist Church in Jackson, Sept. 9 at the 11 a.m. service. 100 Women in Hats and 100 Women in White programs on Aug. 25 Minister Georgia P. Shady A.M.E. Zion Pastor Aid Club is sponsoring the Annual Horse Show and 4-Wheeler Ride Saturday, Aug. 25, 9 a.m. until. The activities will take place at the Sunflower ball field with a $7, adult and $3, child admission. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m. Booth rental fee is $50. There will be fun and games for children. Cedar Point Baptist hosting revival Cedar Point Baptist Church on Highway 31 in the West Bend community of Coffeeville concludes their revival Friday, Aug. 24 at 7 each evening. Speaker is the Rev. Edmond Charleston Jr. of the Antioch M.B. Church of Nicholsville. Pastor James Chaney encourages all to come and get "revived". Gospel singing at Seven Oaks Baptist Church "The Providentials" of Ruth, Miss., the "Gospel Three" and others will be featured at a gospel singing at Seven Oaks Baptist Church. They will be performing Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. There will be no admission, but a love offering will be taken.
