Church Calendar Crimson City Quartet performs Aug. 26 Tompkins Baptist Church in Grove Hill will present the Crimson City Quartet of Mobile on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 14130 Highway 43. Word of Truth announces new time The Word of Truth Fellowship Church announces a new worship service time on Sunday mornings at 8:30. Zion Pastor Aid Club is sponsoring the Annual Horse Show and 4-Wheeler Ride Saturday, Aug. 25, 9 a.m. until. The activities will take place at the Sunflower ball field with a $7, adult and $3, child admission. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m. Booth rental fee is $50. There will be fun and games for children. Participants ride at their own risk. Revival services at Good Hope Missionary Revival services will continue at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Salitpa through Aug. 17 at 7 nightly. The Rev. Little Burrah honors pastor's 17th anniversary The Little Burrah Baptist Church invites everyone to celebrate Pastor William Jackson's 17th anniversary Saturday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. Saturday's speaker will be the Rev. Clausell Boykin celebrates anniversary The anniversary of the Rev. Clausell Boykin as pastor of St. James AME Church in Choctaw Bluff will be Sunday, Aug. 19 at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Georgia P. Nash, pastor of St. Paul AME Church of Carlton, will be the guest speaker for this occasion. Cedar Point Baptist hosting homecoming and revival Homecoming will be Sunday, Aug. 19, 2 p.m. at Cedar Point Baptist Church on Highway 31 in the West Bend community of Coffeeville. Speaker for the event will be the Rev. Derrick Powell and special guests will be the congregation of the Good Hope Baptist Church of Salitpa. A revival will begin Monday, Aug. 20 and conclude Friday, Aug. 24, meeting at 7 each evening. Speaker for the revival will be the Rev. Edmond Charleston Jr. of the Antioch M.B. Church of Nicholsville. Pastor James Chaney encourages all to come and get "revived". Gospel singing at Seven Oaks Baptist Church "The Providentials" of Ruth, Miss., the "Gospel Three" and others will be featured at a gospel singing at Seven Oaks Baptist Church.
