SPORTS REPORT
Those words were made famous by former Crimson Tide Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant years ago but they still ring true today. Sometimes we have so little faith in our own talents that we do not follow through when opportunities to succeed arise. It is easier to think of all the things that can go wrong by taking chances rather than what might happen if you have a little confidence and just go for it. Lack of confidence is a hindering condition that affects people in life, sports, work and about any other situation you can think of. There are people with great talents that tend to worry about being rejected or not being good enough and that keeps them from following their dreams. Nothing in life will ever be easy. Like Bryant said, you have to believe in yourself, have dedication and pride and never quit, to become a winner. It doesn't matter which sport your playing, which instrument your strumming or what your talent might be. It all comes down to believing in yourself and taking chances. Opportunities to do what you love may not come around but ever so often in a lifetime. If you get your chance make sure you don't let it pass by.
At least if things go wrong and you don't get the results you were hoping for you will not have to look back 20 years later and think 'What might have been?'
