Local educators honored at back-to-school breakfast

The Education Committee of the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its Seventh Annual Back to School Breakfast for local educators and staff on Tuesday, August 7

The purpose of the breakfast is to show gratitude to local educators for their dedication in ensuring that children are well prepared for their future.

"The Jackson area is blessed to have such dedicated educators and staff. I would like to personally thank our educators for the great job that they do in and out of the classroom," said Chamber Director LaShaunda Holly.

"The chamber would also like to thank the area businesses for their generosity in donating goodies to go in the goody bags for the teachers. If it were not for the assistance of our area businesses and industries we would not have had such a successful breakfast." This year's sponsors were:
