Annual teachers' breakfast
The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce (COC) hosted its annual teachers' breakfast at the First United Methodist Church, Tuesday, to mark the beginning of the new school year. Various local organizations and businesses were represented and provided materials for the teachers. Among those on hand for the event (L-R) were Althea Thomas, Pine City Ambassadors' sponsor; Lisa McRae, Wal-Mart representative; LaShaunda Holly, COC director; Nick Waugh, COC education committee member; Donnett Mullinix, education committee member; Audra Raybon, education committee chair; Sgt.
