Brackin graduates summa cum laude from Auburn University

Rhiannon Brackin
Rhiannon Brackin, a graduate of Jackson Academy in 1999 and the University of South Alabama Mobile in 2003, graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University on Aug. 4, 2007 with a master's degree in elementary education.

While attending Auburn, Brackin was one of 10 teachers selected to participate in the Sun Belt Writing Project where she was awarded a full tuition and book scholarship for a semester.

During this summer institute, teachers can become active members of the National Writing Project Network and can conduct long-term workshops in area schools.

She is the daughter of Nancy and Victor Driver of Jackson, granddaughter of Mary Johnson, of Jackson, and the late Robbie Johnson and the late Mary and Charles Driver.

Brackin and her husband, Jon, reside in Foley and she is employed with Baldwin County Schools.
