Rodeo action at JA Friday and Saturday

The annual Pine City Rodeo is back for its sixth season at the Jackson Academy Rodeo Arena Aug. 3-4, at 8 p.m.
This year's contest will feature calf roping, steer wrestling, women's barrel racing, women's breakaway roping, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping and bull riding.
Ticket prices for the event will be $10 for adults at the gate and $8 for children. Advanced tickets may be purchased at First United Security Bank, Merchants Bank, Tack & Rack, Jackson Academy or Leslie Savage at Wilson Real Estate. Advance tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children.
