An Atmore man residing in Jackson was arrested Monday, June 23, by the First Judicial Drug Task Force (Task Force One) and faces possession charges following a search of the home where he was residing.

Eric Riley, 28, was arrested after he was stopped by Task Force One Agent Blane Barnett around 11:30 a.m. At that time, he was found to be in possession of 6 grams of marijuana.

Following up on tips, agents were able to produce enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant of Riley's Industrial Road residence, where they recovered more marijuana, 5.3 grams of crack cocaine and $380 in cash.

Riley was booked into the Clarke County Jail on charges of first degree possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
