Free adoption day planned
The city of Jackson's Animal Control Department will host a free adoption day at Wal-Mart Friday, July 27 from 10 a.m.-2p.m. For one day only the adoption fee for dogs will be waived. Those seeking a pet are encouraged to participate in this program. Animal Control Officer Lee Hutto said there are plenty of great puppies looking for new homes.
