Truck and travel trailer lost in fire
Jackson Fire Department responded to a fire, July 19 after 9:30 p.m., at Highway 43 and West Point Drive, which totally destroyed a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the travel trailer it was pulling. According to Jackson Fire Department reports, the driver of the Jeep, Michael Ezell said he looked in his rearview mirror and noticed the trailer on fire and pulled over. He attempted to unhook the trailer from the Jeep, but the intense heat prevented him from doing so. Trucks 1, 4 and 6 responded, along with Chief Neal Bradley and Assistant Chief Bobby Brooks.
