JA graduate Matt Barnes gets scholarships, awards

Matt Barnes, a recent graduate of Jackson Academy, has been awarded several scholarships and awards.
He was awarded a full-paid tuition to Jones College in Ellisville, Miss., The Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship, the Wayne Lathan Scholarship and a leadership scholarship to the University of West Alabama. He was also a Wendy Heiman nominee.
Barnes has chosen Jones College to pursue a career in forestry. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Barnes of Jackson.
