Rev. Simpson guest speaker at River Hill Baptist homecoming

River Hill Baptist Church in Salitpa will observe homecoming Sunday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. followed by a covered dish lunch.
Special guest speaker will be the Rev. H. Mitchell Simpson, pastor of University Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, N.C. Pastor Simpson has numerous degrees and has worked in ministry and pastored in various locations in North Carolina, Florida, California and England. His father, the Rev. Claude Simpson was pastor of River Hill Baptist Church from 1953 until 1956.
