McIntosh resident dies in crash on U.S. 43 A McIntosh woman died in a midday crash July 9, on U.S. Highway 43 near McIntosh. According to reports, Jada Lang, 19, a 2007 graduate of McIntosh High School, was traveling north when her 2002 Nissan Altima struck the rear of a state herbicide truck.
Lang, who was reportedly wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was transported to a Mobile hospital by ambulance.
