Owens - Coate say vows June 2
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Livingston Marmaduke Coate of Spanish Fort and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herndon Tartt Coate and the late Mr. and Mrs. Adna Crear Anderson, Jr. The groom is the son of Mrs. Marilyn Bannagan Owens of Fairhope and the late Bobby Ronald Owens Sr. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Owens of Fairhope. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Lauren Elizabeth Gilley of Mobile as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Owens Dorriety, sister of the groom of Fairhope, Joni Ojard of Spanish Fort, Dee Pace of Fairhope and Heather Price of Summerdale. Flower girl was Maggie Dorriety, niece of the groom of Fairhope. The groom was attended by his sons, Blake Owens and Connor Owens as best men. Groomsmen were Mark Bradley of Fairhope, Matthew Coate, brother of the bride of Spanish Fort, Matthew Dorriety of Fairhope, and Felipe Owens, brother of the groom, of Fairhope. The ushers were Brett Anderson and Nolan Anderson of Baton Rouge, La. and Lee Gilley of Mobile. The ring bearer was Brent Dorriety, nephew of the groom of Fairhope.
Areception followed at the Nix Center in Fairhope. After a honeymoon to the Cayman Islands, the couple will reside in Fairhope.
