District Champions

The 9-year-old Jackson All-Stars won the 2007 District 3 Championship June 28 in Bay Minnette. The 9-year-old Jackson All- Stars won the 2007 District 3 Championship June 28 in Bay Minnette.

The Jackson bats were on fire as they dominated their opponents by a combined score of 58-19 in three games.

In the first game Jackson beat the host team, Bay Minnette 15- 8. Tucker Batley was 4-4 with two doubles, Brandon Lang 1-3 with a triple, Blake Bolen 3-4, Phillip Fuller 2-4, Eastwood Thomas 3-4 with two triples and Tucker Faust was 2-2 to lead the Jackson hitters. Wade Sullivan and Taylor Roberts added singles.

The Jackson All-Stars blasted Choctaw-Washington 24-7 in the second game. Tucker Batley was 4-4, Brandon Lang 5-5, Blake Bolen 2-3, Wade Sullivan 3-4, Phillip Fuller 2-4, Eastwood Thomas 5-5, Taylor Roberts 2-3, James Ezell 1-4 and Jordan Lankford was 3-3 in the victory.

Jackson again ousted host Bay Minnette 19-7 in the championship game to bring the first place trophy home to Jackson.

Tucker Batley was 4-4, Brandon Lang 4-4 with a homerun, Blake Bolen 3-3, Wade Sullivan 3-3, Phillip Fuller 3-3, Tucker Faust 1-3, James Ezell 1-3, Jordan Lankford 2-3 and Dylan Allen was 2-2 in the win.

The 9-year-old All-Stars only play a district tournament so they are now finished after winning the District 3 Championship.

Jackson's 10-year-old All- Star also won their District Championship in Excel. They will now travel to Sheffield, Ala. on July 6 to take part in the Alabama Little League State Championship.
