Parden - Phillips to wed July 21

Mr. Phillips and Miss Parden

Nita and Paul Parden of Excel announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Whitney Lauren Parden of Excel to Thomas Alan Phillips of Grove Hill, son of Lisa and Thomas Phillips of Grove Hill.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Parden, Reba Jackson of Excel and the late Ralph Jackson.

She is a 2006 graduate of Excel High School and is currently attending Alabama Southern Community College.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Stoker of Camden and the late Valdez "Digger" Phillip, Mr. Dwance Jordan of Campbell and Barbara Jordan of Grove Hill. He is a 2006 graduate of Clarke County High School and is currently enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

The wedding is planned for July 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Excel Assembly of God in Excel. Family and friends are invited.
