Leroy finish up summer ball
The Aggies traveled to Excel and lost 4-3 in the first game but rallied with a big 8-3 win over the Panthers in the nightcap. Sam Harbuck was 3-5 with a homerun, Kent Meyer was 2-4 with three RBIs and Jeremy Reeves was 2-5 with two RBIs in the doubleheader for Jackson. The Aggies finished up play with an 8-4 record. The Bears played host to Grove Hill on Thursday, June 21 and fell 6-5. Matthew Watkins was 2-2 with two RBIs. Phillip Ervin was 1-1 with two runs scored and Steven Scoggins had a RBI single.
Leroy met up with Thomasville Gray on Monday June 25 and won 9-2. Brandon Jones was the game's winnng pitcher allowing only three hits in four strong innings of work. Aerick Davis was 2-3 with two runs scored, Grant Brown was 1-2 with a triple and two RBIs and Brandon Jones was 2-3. Phillip Ervin and Zack Flowers both added RBI doubles for the Bears. The Bears finished up with a 3-4 record.
