Lady Aggies hit the road

The Jackson Lady Aggies basketball team hit the road recently to get ready for the upcoming season. The Lady Aggies camped at Louisiana Tech University on June 8-10 for an Elite-Position camp. Pictured (above) at the camp are Raven Tiggs, Mia Parker, DaVeshisa Williams, Blair Hundley, Shanavia Ervin, Brittanee Crayton, M.J. Washington, Angelica Leggett, Delishia Daffin, JaQuese Ezell, Genesis Bernard and Iesha Bush. KeChondra Martin is not pictured. The Aggies received instruction from La Tech Head Coach Chris Long and Assistant Coach Joni Crenshaw along with current players for Tech. JHS traveled to Jones Junior College in Ellisville, Miss. on June 11 to take part in a Team Shootout. The Lady Aggies finished the day with three wins and only one loss. Jackson Lady Aggie Coach Trinnia McKenzie said, "We have been working extremely hard this spring and summer. Be sure to come out and support the entire athletic department at Jackson High School."
