New police station nearing completion
The new Jackson Police Department complex, located next to Jackson City Hall, is nearing completion with much of the exterior work finished as well as a good portion of the interior. As reported by Deputy Police Chief Mark Harrell at Tuesday's city council meeting, installation of the department's new communications tower (seen at far right) is almost complete as well.
