Rance Carr joins staff at Jackson Academy

Rance Carr has been hired by Jackson Academy as advisor to the board. A well-known educator in the Jackson area, Carr received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a master's and specialist in education from the University of Alabama. He has 37 years experience in public and private education.
"We want to look to the future of Jackson Academy for a good, sound education for our students," Carr said. He went on to say that he is looking forward to working with students and parents, as well as the board of directors to assist in the continuous improvement process at the school.
JA teacher, Janiece Atchison said she feels that Carr will be a tremendous asset to the school and welcomes the opportunity to work with him again.
