One injured in wreck
Timothy Coker, 37, of St. Stephens was seriously injured when he lost control of his 1989 Dodge on McVay Road, Friday, June 1 around 8:55 p.m., according to Alabama State Troopers' reports. Coker's vehicle left the roadway and struck a pine tree, crushing the passenger side of the vehicle and trapping him inside. Emergency personnel from Antioch Volunteer Fire Department, Jackson Police and the Clarke County Sheriff's Department responded. Coker was transported to Jackson Medical Center by JETS ambulance then transferred to a Mobile hospital by LifeFlight helicopter.
