Tyer retires after 37 years in Clarke County School System
      Fannie L. Tyer, a teacher at Joe M. Gillmore Elementary, is retiring after teaching 37 years. Ms. Tyer is a graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School and received her B.S. and master's degrees from Alabama State University with an endorsement in early childhood.
