Ross instructs on use of Ancestory.com'

On Sunday afternoon, May 20, the Washington County Historical Society met at the Washington County Public Library where Jessica Ross, library director, explained the use of Ancestry.com, an on-line program for searching one's family tree. This service was made possible by memorial contributions in honor of the late Joseph Granade. This is a limited trial use of the program. Ross hopes that organizations and individuals interested in genealogy will come forward to support this service financially. The WCHS's next meeting is the third Sunday in August.
