Lauren Rodriguez to appear in All-American Scholar Yearbook

The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Lauren Rodriguez of Jackson has been named an All-American Scholar At-Large award winner. Her name will appear in the All-American Scholar Official Yearbook which is published nationally.
Fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students are recognized by the academy. Winners are selected based on the Standards of Selection set forth by the academy. Criteria includes a student's grade-point average, their achievements and a well-balanced schedule of academics and extracurricular activities.
Rodriguez is a student at Jackson High School. She is the daughter of Rebecca and Oscar Rodriguez of Jackson, granddaughter of Lynda Presnall of Whatley, Bernie and Rose Lara of Palestine, Texas, and greatgranddaughter of Robert Howell of Jackson.
