Duke University talent search recognizes three JMS students

Garrison Odom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brett Odom; Amber Stallworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Stallworth and Ben Morseth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Morseth were recently recognized at the University of Alabama by the Duke University Talent Identification Program.

The Talent Search identifies academically talented seventh graders based on standardized test scores achieved while attending elementary or middle school. Candidates are identified and invited to complete either the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT Assessment college entrance examination. In order to be able to participate in state recognition ceremonies, students must score at least 21 on one or more subtests on the ACT. All three are students at Jackson Middle School.
