Syble R. McIntyre Pugh Sanford Syble R. McIntyre Pugh Sanford, 87, a native of Coffeeville and a long-time resident of Chickasaw, died May 14, 2007 in Mobile after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emily Lowery McIntyre and Joseph McIntyre, a daughter, Jeanette Pugh Kontos, son, Bobby Joe Pugh and grandson Jerry McLean. Surviving Ms. McIntyre are two daughters, Betty Pugh (Jeral) McLean of Mobile and Emily Pugh (Mario) Arellano of Satsuma; two sons, Robert E. (Clara) Pugh of North Carolina and Chester M. (Marsha) Pugh of Demopolis; sister, Katherine Sanders of Mobile; long-time and devoted friends, Peggy and Jack Morris; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be May 17 (Today), 3 p.m., at Lathan Funeral Home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Sanford's grandson, the Rev. Robbie Pugh will officiate. Interment will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
