Mark Your Calendar JHS booster club to meet May 21 Jackson High School Full Court Booster Club will meet May 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the JHS library. All persons interested in actively participating with the booster club for 2007-08 is encouraged to attend this meeting. Car wash fund-raiser in Thomasville The Grove Hill Methodist Protestant Church will be conducting a car wash at the Thomasville Wal-Mart on May 19 at 8 a.m. Youth of the church will be selling hot dogs, Coke and other treats. CCHS reunion Class of 1962 The CCHS Class of 1962 will have a class reunion, June 9, 2 p.m. at Scotch Station Park, Asbury Road, Whatley. All class members and teachers are invited to attend. Coffeeville RSVP meets June 5 The Coffeeville RSVP will meet June 5 at 2 p.m. in the Nutrition Center. This will be the last meeting before the summer break. The next meeting will be in September. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a friend. River Hill Baptist seeks donations River Hill Baptist Church is seeking donations for restoration and repair of monuments and other repairs. Horse Whisperer to speak May 21 Horse Whisperer Paul Daily will be at the Thomasville Horse Arena for one night only, Monday, May 21. The session is free to the public. Concessions will be available. Everyone should bring a lawn chair. The arena is located at the intersection of Industrial Drive and Old Highway 5. Go up Highway 43 N, to Thomasville, make a right on Industrial Drive and right on Old Highway 5. JHS Class of 1987 meeting The Jackson High School Class of 1987 will be conducting a reunion meeting on Sunday, May 20, 3 p.m. at Visitation Catholic Church in Jackson. The reunion is set for July 21 at the VFW Club in Jackson. The fee for attending the reunion is $75 and is due by June 1. Four-wheeler ride and horse show
There will be a four-wheeler ride and horse show on Saturday, May 19 at Sunflower Ball Field in Sunflower. Admission is $7 adults and $3 children. First ride will begin at 10 a.m. It is "ride at your own risk" and is sponsored by the Mt. Shady A.M.E. Zion Church Pastor's Aide Club.
