Junior Miss program is Saturday night

The Clarke County Junior Miss program will be held Saturday, May 5 at Sage Auditorium in Grove Hill, beginning at 7 p.m.

There are 12 contestants in this year's program.

Kayla Powell attends Clarke Preparatory School. She is the daughter of Bo and Cindy Powell. She will sing "This is the Moment," for the talent portion of the program.

Katie Simon is the daughter of Mark and Marsha Simon and Mike and Sally Smith. She attends Thomasville High School. For her talent she will present an original monologue, "Mama, Please Don't Cry."

Chelsey Nichols attends Jackson High School. She is the daughter of David Nichols. For the talent portion of the program she will perform a piano solo entitled "Majesty," arranged by Dino Kartsonakis.

Whitney Foreman is the daughter of Bobby and Carla Foreman. She attends Clarke Preparatory School. She will sing "God Help the Outcasts" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame for her talent.

Schaefer Bradford attends Clarke County High School. She is the daughter of Fred and Jaimi Bradford. She will perform an en pointe ballet to "Yankee Doodle Boy" for the talent portion of the program.

Chelsea Beverly is the daughter of Robin and LeAnne Beverly. She attends Jackson High School. For her talent portion of the program she will sing "I Believe."

Ellie Wilson attends Clarke County High School. She is the daughter of Bruce and Rhonda Wilson. She will perform a humorous monologue entitled "Etiquette in Church" from O Ye Jigs and Juleps for her talent.

Amanda Champion is the daughter of Al Champion and the late Teresa Champion. She attends Clarke Preparatory School. She will perform a human video to "Can't Live A Day," by Avalon for the talent portion of the program.

Keke Cummings attends Clarke County High School. She is the niece of Eddie and Sheryl Bonner. For the talent portion of the program she will perform a jazz dance to "Ease on Down the Road" from The Wiz.

Whitney Drinkard is the daughter of Dennis and Wanda Drinkard. She attends Clarke County High School. She will perform a gymnastics routine to a "Chicago" medley for her talent.

Chelsey Nichols
Camelia Forte attends Thomasville High School. She is the daughter of Valerie Forte. She will sing "Your Father's Son" from Ragtime for the talent portion of the program.

Natalie Rake is the daughter of Jeff and Shirley Rake. She attends Thomasville High School. She will perform a piano solo entitled "America the Beautiful" for the talent portion of the program.
