JA Jr. Scholar's competes
The Jackson Academy Junior High School Scholar's Bowl Team won the district championship by defeating its opponents, 390- 50 at Patrician Academy. Sawyer Donald was the high point individual with 90. The team advanced to the state contest in Montgomery where they placed fifth in the state. JA beat Pickens Academy, 205-105, but lost to Morgan and Lakeside academies.
