Earnest Nolen Bryant

Ernest Nolen Bryant, 82, of Spanish Fort died April 21, 2007 at his residence.

He was born Dec. 31, 1924 in Lawrence County, Tenn. He was a member of Grove Hill Baptist Church and a World War II Navy veteran. A member of the American Legion, he was a retired pine sales manager at Scotch Lumber Company in Fulton.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Augzell Bryant, Spanish Fort; one son, Jerry Bryant (Mary Lynn), La Grange, Ga., one daughter, Angie (Tom) Waters, Spanish Fort; two sisters, Betty Hassell, Chapel Hill, Tenn., Marie Harris, Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; grandchildren, Christy (Rick) Jones, Decatur, Ga., Wesley (Katharine) Bryant, Mobile, Hannah and Joshua Dunn, Spanish Fort, and one great-grandchild, Jackson Bryant, Mobile; nephews, nieces and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Allen Bryant and Michael Lyons Bryant.

The service was April 24 in the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill. Burial was at the Magnolia Lawn Cemetery in Grove Hill.
