Miss Brown honored

Allison Brown, bride-elect of Craig Faircloth of Montrose, was recently honored with a bridal tea and shower.

Kitchen and Linen Shower

The home of Dickie Bridges in Jackson was the setting for a kitchen and linen shower conducted on Saturday, April 14, 2007. Co-hostessing the event were Crystal Bolen, Amy Burge, Ellen McVay, Cathy Odom, Debbie Sullivan and Liza Sullivan. Special guests included, Linda Brown of Leroy, mother of the bride-elect, Leslie Brown of Birmingham, sister of the bride-elect, mother and sister of the groom-elect, Tracey Faircloth and Natalie Faircloth, both of Montrose, respectively and Ashley Hammonds of Birmingham, a bridesmaid. An arrangement of roses and mixed spring flowers from the flower gardens of Mrs. Bridges was placed on the dining table. Crystal and silver appointments held an assortment of finger foods, coffee and punch. Hostesses presented the bride-elect a set of monogrammed sheets.

Bridal Tea

A bridal tea was conducted at the First United Methodist Church Parlor in Jackson on Sunday, April 15. Attending as special guests were the mothers of the couple, sister of the bride-elect and her bridesmaid. A silver candelabra arrangement of hydrangea, gerbera daisies and roses centered the serving table. An array of finger foods, desserts and punch were served. A vegetable bowl and platter in the bride-elect's chosen china pattern was presented to Miss Brown from the hostesses. Hostesses were Abby Beverly, Harla Barnes, Debby Davis, Gina Creel, Denise Flowers, JoAnn Hagood, Sharon Harrell, Betty Hentschel, Amy Hundley, Frances Little, Beth Martin, Patricia Paul, Audra Raybon, Jaye Roe, Janet Scruggs, Tanya Shoultz, Jane Simmons, Nancy Spence, Joy Stevens, Patsy Walker, Leanne Waugh and Delores Zakary.
