Miss Reeves honored with several showers in April

Jody Reeves of Tuscaloosa, bride-elect of Walt Wade of Jackson, was honored with several showers in April.

Room-by-Room

Miss Reeves was honored with a room-by-room shower at the home of Jenilee Slayton on Saturday, April 7, 2007.

Co-hosting the event were Terri Slayton, Brooke Slayton, Carolyn Dunagan and Janet Scruggs, all of Jackson, Malorie Rogers and Cailey Scruggs, both of Tuscaloosa and Indyia Newburn of Auburn.

The dining room table held an arrangement of fresh cut spring flowers.

An assortment of finger foods, punch and a cake decorated with pink sweetheart roses was served.

Special guests attending were mother of the bride-elect, Sissy Reeves, mother of the groomelect, Kim Wade, stepmother of the groom-elect, Teresa Wade, grandmothers of the bride-elect, Nancy Harrison and Judy Reeves and grandmother of the groom-elect, Peggy Claxton.

The hostesses presented Miss Reeves with a set of canisters in her chosen everyday pattern of china.

Lingerie Shower

A lingerie shower was given in honor of the bride-elect on April 15, 2007 at the home of Anna Johnson in Tuscaloosa.

Hostesses were Sally Grimes and Molly Grimes, both of Opp, Anna Johnson of Tuscaloosa and Haley Wilson of Curry.

A variety of finger foods including miniature cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, fresh fruit, miniature sandwiches and pink lemonade were served.

Guests presented Miss Reeves with a variety of gifts.

Honored guests attending were the mothers of the brideelect and prospective groom.

Kitchen Shower

Ladies of the Jackson Church of Christ hosted a kitchen shower in the fellowship hall of the church on Sunday, April 22.

The fellowship hall was decorated with spring flowers and greenery and an arrangement of spring flowers was placed on the main table.

Finger foods, cake and punch were served.

Special guests attending were mothers and grandmothers of the Miss Reeves and Mr. Wade.

Miss Reeves received numerous gifts for her kitchen.
