The floorboards of the old schoolhouse in Frankville were shaking this past Saturday with the sounds of bluegrass music filling the air.

Young and old alike gathered for the 30th Annual "Old-Time Fiddler's Convention." The event originated in the 1920s as a community event. It has been an annual event at Frankville since 1977 when W.N. Reynolds Lodge No. 900 took over the sponsorship.

Saturday's convention featured performers of all ages showing off their talents, as well as old-fashioned southern barbeque for those who wished to partake.
