UAB awards scholarship to Michelle McKenzie
McKenzie, a senior at UAB, is a member of Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the recipient of the National Society to Learn Scholarship. She is a pre-nursing major and upon graduation will be entering the UAB Graduate Program to pursue a master's She is the daughter of Ella and David McKenzie of Jackson.
Editor's Note: In last week's edition of The South Alabamian, the University of Alabama in Birmingham reported that Miss McKenzie was a senior at JHS when in fact she was a senior at UAB. She graduated from JHS in 2002. We are happy to make the correction.
