McKenzie receives scholarship to UAB

Michelle McKenzie is the recipient of a one-year University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Dottie Monro Presidential Minority Scholarship valued at $2,500.
She is the daughter of Ella and David McKenzie of Jackson.
McKenzie is a senior at Jackson High School and also attends classes at UAB. She is a member of Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and also is the recipient of the National Society to Learn Scholarship.
At UAB, she will major in pre-nursing.
