Reeves scheduled to be on TV show 'House Hunters' Thursday
Reeves explained, "I received a call in the summer of 2005 asking if any of my clients would consider being on the show. I told her I did not think so, but to let me make a few phone calls and I would get back with her. The first two I called were horrified of the idea of being on a national TV show and the third, Brenda and Joe Morra from Dublin, Ga. were delighted. Then reality set in that they were not going to be on the show by themselves- I would be on there with them! When I realized that I would be on the show myself I developed an extreme case of stage fright and Brenda had to talk long and hard to convince me to be the featured realtor for the show. Finally, I agreed. It is hard to imagine, but four days of filming go into this 30-minute show and it was hard work, doing the same thing over and over and trying to remember the scripts that we were given. Many shots had to be reshot because the producer hated it when someone said the room, floor or whatever was "nice." Joe Mora had received a new job at a paper mill in Mobile and the family flew in to look at houses with Reeves' assistance. They were looking for a fivebedroom house so that everyone in the large family of six could have their own space. An open floor plan and a swimming pool were also on their wish list. The episode details the hunt for the right house and Reeves' contributions to the process.
The show airs tonight (Thursday, March 22) at 9 p.m.; Friday morning at 1 a.m. and Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
