Candlelight vigil conducted for Hicks
Supporters of the family of Cole Hicks, son of Tiffany and Robert Hicks, attended a candlelight vigil conducted Monday and Tuesday nights at the First Assembly of God Church in Jackson. The child remains in critical condition at a Mobile hospital after he nearly drowned two weeks ago. The Rev. E.C. Russell said he was asked by the owner of the day care where the incident occurred to organize the event in support of the Hicks family during their time of crisis.
