Lingerie and linen shower given in honor of Courtney Elizabeth Skipper

A lingerie and linen shower was given in honor of Courtney Elizabeth Skipper, bride-elect of John Calvin "Cal" Reeves on Feb. 11, 2007.

Hosting the event were Betty Beard and Nancy Nolen, both of Jackson.

Special guests attending was mother of the bride-elect, Helen Skipper.

The dining table was decorated with an arrangement of fresh flowers and tapered candles. An assortment of finger foods including nuts, cheese straws, cake, grape juice and mimosas were served to approximately 40 guests.

Miss Skipper was presented an array of useful gifts.

The hostesses presented the bride-elect with red placemats and napkins.
