Several parties conducted in honor of Coleman - Lynch Ginny Coleman, bride-elect of Justin Lynch, was honored with several parties. Bridal Tea Miss Coleman was honored with a bridal tea Feb. 18 at the home of Teresa Roberts of Jackson. Co-hostesses were Rachael Roberts of Jackson and Kristin Strickland of Troy. The bride-elect's chosen wedding colors of blue and brown were used throughout the breakfast area. The refreshment table was covered in a blue linen cloth with beige Army/Navy cloth. Napkins, utensils and cups completed the tablescape. Guests were served an assortment of dips and crackers, crudités, nuts, a chocolate cake with blue Fondant bow and punch. Miss Coleman was presented a set of stainless cookware and a cut glass pedestal cake plate from the hostesses. Special guests attending were Kathy Coleman of Jackson, mother of the bride-elect, and Ellen Williams of Leroy, grandmother of the groom-elect. Spa Day The bride-elect and her bridesmaids were pampered with a spa day hosted by the bride-elect's aunt, Connie Turner of Mandeville, La. Guests met at the bride-elect's home for early morning refreshments before being picked up by a limousine for the trip to the Island Day Spa in Mobile. Mrs. Turner and daughter, Dallas Campbell, presented each guest with a long-sleeve Tshirt in the bride's wedding colors, blue and brown. Members of the bridal party received custom-designed necklaces of blue and brown beads with silver fleur-de-lis charms. After a morning of spa treatments the group had lunch at Ruby Tuesday's before returning home. Special guests attending were the bride-elect's mother and Ruth Lynch, mother of the groom-elect. Stock the Bar and Grill Party Mr. Lynch and Miss Coleman were honored with a stock the bar and grill party at the home of Ann and Happy White of Jackson on Feb. 24. Co-hosting the event were Jenny and Champ Bowling, Linda and Jackie Chastain, Judy and Robert Edge, Anja and David Pace and Donna and Greg Rotch, aunt and uncle of the bride-elect. The dining table was covered with a white Luxemburg cloth and held an arrangement of fresh forsythia which was placed in the center. The food was served in crystal and silver serving dishes. The butler's pantry was used as the wet bar and a baby's antique porcelain bathtub was placed on the deck and held a variety of cold beverages. A menu of grilled pork tenderloin with butter biscuits, boiled shrimp, finger sandwiches, an assortment of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and desserts was served. Special guests attending were Ruth and Darwin Lynch of Leroy, Kathy Coleman and Danny Coleman, both of Jackson, all parents of the couple.
The couple received a variety of useful presents from the guests.
